St Paul’s is a purpose built infant school completed in 1981. Large exterior windows make most classrooms bright and airy. A feeling of spaciousness is gained because all classrooms have been built without a ceiling and a clear view is obtained of the rafters that sustain the roof. Extra working space is available by the use of small interior patios adjacent to classes and the terraces on the West side of the school.
A small Hall is the venue for many of the school functions such as religious services and plays and performances staged by pupils for their parents/guardians. A large playground adds to the facilities for games and recreation. In 1994, due to increased numbers on roll, 3 classes were built on the south end of the school and one other big class was built in the playground area. With the onset of school lunches a provisional dining hall area has been built in the school playground. In September 2004 an extension was added to the school comprising of five new classes, a new nursery, gymnasium, toilet facilities and nursery playground. The school can now accommodate a 4 form entry.
